RealBanknotes Paper Money Collecting Website
by Proteus on Oct.01, 2010, under Website Updates
Well, its been a great month for the website. Aside from some advertising, which is an unfortunate reality, I have added a bunch of content and now the website features 34,350+ banknote listings, 3,650+ banknotes with images, 21350+ catalog values, 5,550+ eBay sales values, and banknotes views just under 30,000! More importantly, however, I have recently added two authors to the blog: om007 and Babar. I can’t wait to see some blog entries from these two. And for those of you who are visiting the blog only, remember that the main website is www.RealBanknotes.com.
RealBanknotes.com v2.0

Well, I am at the point where I am adding pictures to the banknotes on the latest version of the site. This means that the functionality is almost 100%, and I am just waiting to add more content before I launch. I’m still looking for any suggestions you visitors have. If you haven’t checked out the current (and soon to be ‘old’) version of the site, you should take a look. Check it out here!
The new version is much more appealing, and has additional functions such as a banknote search function, built in blog (which is a mirror of this one), and updated listings and values. There is also a good link to by banknotes online, which will be augmented once I get my banknotes up for sale. The plan is for our own store, and possibly members stores.
RealBanknotes.com Website Update

Wow! I have only just returned from a five day trip, and I have noticed that there have been 5000+ banknote views on the website since I left. That’s 1000 views per day, and I could not be happier! I am glad that people are visiting and, obviously, liking the site. I have a little work ahead of me getting my office and my home ready for the upcoming winter, but I will do my best to add Laos and Latvian banknotes to the website, seeing as there are obviously some people eager to take a look. :)
